"It means something," Harrow says, though she has to look away from that steady, golden gaze as she forces the words out. She remembers, now, scrawling those words on a scrap of paper, wrapping them around a ruined pair of sunglasses. There were reasons she'd entrusted that envelope to Tridentarius and not herself, but Harrow wishes she had it now to give Gideon, to show her...something. Instead, she takes a breath, her fingers twitching against the mug in a movement she considers and then aborts.
